Why is customer service important to your business? (Who are the customers served? What are their needs? What are the challenges of serving them?) Many of our customers come looking for fresh meat and wanting good tasting product. With our many in house special items, we are sure to “meet” their needs. Without our valued customers we would not be in business. The challenges we face are some of the many dietary restrictions some people face. We endeavor to meet as many needs as possible. This past year it goes without saying that meeting the needs during COVID-19 has been challenging. From closing our store to walk in customers and only dealing with online and phone orders, to reopening and managing the number of customers and ensuring the abide but our safety requirements to ensure everyone’s safety.
In your opinion what is exceptional about the quality of service you offer? (What makes your business different from its competitors? Why should clients come here instead of somewhere else? What does your business do better than anyone else?) The Beckwith Butcher is your good ‘ole fashion butcher who carefully chooses your cuts of meat from swinging (air aged) beef, chooses quality over quantity and makes sure that our cuts are generous. Because your meal won’t taste great, if your meat doesn’t! The owner is very particular of the product that comes into his store and will not put out product that is not to his satisfaction. The staff strive to provide the best service possible offering advise on how to cook products to ensure the best results. If you don’t see what you want all you have to do is ask and they butchers will be please to cut meat to your specifications. These past year our staff have been outstanding during the COVID-19 outbreak, meeting every challenge along the way including isolating from family to ensure they, their co-worker (from both stores) as well as our customers were safe. They worked timelessly during the period we only dealt with online and phone requests to ensure orders were filled within an acceptable timely manner. We are a small business and without the support and loyalty of our staff, we would not be able to provide the service to our clients that we do.
