I believe the Carleton Place and District Chamber of Commerce is the primary networking and business development organization in all of the Ottawa Valley. This particular Chamber is viewed as one of the most active and engaging Chambers in the area and has been instrumental in helping me to build my business. Being a member of the Carleton Place and District Chamber of Commerce doesn’t alone, bring sales to your business, but it does give you a tremendous opportunity to make some noise about what you do. The staff and members of the Board will assist in any and all areas you need them to. They will counsel and provide recommendations for resources which can often result in a small business owner being less stressed and feeling so alone.
I recommend every business owner take a Chamber membership and also assign yourself the responsibility to leverage that membership by investing in business development. Attend the events (virtual or in person) and make some noise about YOU!
